A very Large well-established Advertising Agency based in Durban is looking for a Media Stratgist with good Advertising Agency experience . To actively participate in new business pitches, researching when required and assisting from start to presentation stage. To keep abreast of all new products and innovations. To continuously update and report back on the industry and related advertising trends. Preparation of research questionnaires and other research materials Creating thinking and concept creation skills Leadership and team management ability. Strong strategic thinking capabilities and knowledge of core strategy philosophies and processes. Retail category experience is desirable. Working knowledge of communications planning models To be able to plan across all disciplines, ATL, BTL, Digital etc. Able to analyze market trends, research and business data Experience in positioning brands and devising campaign strategy and communication plans Strong presentation and workshop skills Excellent understanding of key industry influences and competition Excellent presentation skills Excellent relationship management skills Data Analysis skills Exceptional oral and written communication skills Working experience in a big agency environment or structured marketing environment Minimum of 4 years communications planning experience Marketing communication or equivalent degree The salary is negotiable depending on experience.
