Description: Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a talented and experienced Metallurgist Consultant to join their mining team in Zimbabwe. Responsibilities: Provide metallurgical consulting services to mining clients in Zimbabwe Conduct metallurgical assessments, audits, and evaluations of processing plants Develop and implement strategies for process optimization and efficiency improvement Provide technical expertise and support in metallurgical troubleshooting and problem-solving Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement improvement plans Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in metallurgical technologies Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Provide training and mentorship to junior metallurgical staff Prepare technical reports and presentations Requirements: BSc Degree in Metallurgy or related field 8 years' experience as a Consultant Metallurgist within the mining industry. Extensive experience working in a BIOX plant. Provide guidance to operating staff on choosing the appropriate refractory materials Conduct testing and analysis on plant operations Observe, analyze, interpret, and report on critical process parameters Address processes and implement improvements, including developing and refining plant formulas and recipes.
