West Rand of Gauteng is looking for a
Microsoft Server Administrator.
As a Microsoft Server Administrator, you will play a critical role maintaining Windows server infrastructure.
Your skillset will ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of the server environment.
Key Competencies:Knowledge:- Microsoft Server: Practical Windows Server knowledge is essential. Candidates with MSCE (Legacy Advantage) or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate certification will have an advantage.
- Networking: Basic networking skills are required.
- Endpoint Management: Familiarity with SCCM and Endpoint Central is an advantage.

Responsibilities:Windows Server Infrastructure- Implement and support Windows server infrastructure components, including:
- Active Directory
- DNS
- Certificate Services
- AD FS (Active Directory Federation Services)
- Install and configure Windows servers,
- Troubleshoot Windows Servers issues.
Security and Compliance:- Adhere to a planned program for virus updates, patch management, and service packs.
- Maintain established company security standards.
- Be an owner of the AD (Active Directory).
Virtualization and Hardware:- Support the Windows Server and Virtualization Infrastructure.
Communication and Collaboration:- Effectively communicate with team members, management and network team.
