Requirements:

Grade 12
Relevant networking certifications required: CCNP, JNCIP, HCNP and ITIL
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Telecommunications networking, with a focus on MPLS, DWDM, and/or GPON networks.
Proficiency in networking technologies including MPLS, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, QoS, IP Multicast, VLAN, QinQ, VRRP, DHCP, DNS, and ERPS.
Professional level knowledge of TCP/IP and other network services required to run a complex network.
Hands-on experience with MPLS networks and/or DWDM networks and/or GPON networks.
Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei.
Proficiency in network troubleshooting methodologies and tools.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
