Operations Assistant Midrand - Midrand
The Operations Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Operations Director to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our manufacturing operations. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Assist the Operations Director in day-to-day tasks, including scheduling, planning, and coordinating operational activities. - Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and efficiency. - Prepare and maintain detailed records, reports, and documentation related to production, inventory, and operations. - Liaise with various departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. - Assist in the implementation and maintenance of SAP systems for inventory management, production planning, and other operational functions. - Handle administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence. Requirements: - Proven experience in an administrative or operations support role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. - Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Business degree or diploma. Beneficial Skills and Experience: - Experience in the supplements or cosmetics manufacturing industry. - Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing context. - Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure. - Fluency in Afrikaans. - Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
