ABOUT THE ROLE: This role is a permanent full-time position. As an Operator Plant, you will be responsible to monitor, control and operate the safe and efficient execution of activities in the process plan. Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: Safely monitor, operate and control activities from a control room and in the plant; Monitor the transfer of material by means of belt conveyors; Monitor plant stockpile levels, plant feed rates and product quality; Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure compliance to surface plant safe operating procedures and life-saving rules; Make use of Ampla systems to capture plant performance information; Provide feedback on performance at Lean Level 1 meetings; Partake in reporting of significant events and incident investigations; Relieve in the process controller role when required. ABOUT YOU: You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: Must have a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a process plant environment.
