Pastry Chef: Entry Level Chocolatier - Cape Town City Centre

This position is responsible to create the best culinary experience for the guests, offering them an outstanding service, through the preparation of a large variety of international menus.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and creation of a variety of chocolate products.
  • Follow recipes and production processes to ensure high-quality results.
  • Participate in the setup and maintenance of chocolate-making equipment.
  • Assist with quality control and ensure that products meet company standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Contribute to the development of new chocolate products and flavors.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist in packaging and presentation.
Qualifications:
  • A genuine passion for chocolate and a keen interest in learning the art of Chocolaterie.
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to produce high-quality products.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions carefully.
  • Basic understanding of kitchen or food preparation practices is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is not required but is advantageous.
