Ensure Gross Margins are in line to achieve budget. Identify trading issues with proposed actions to Management. Age Stock Management through markdown management. Report on movement of Age Stock including proposed actions needed to clear to Management. Gross Margin Management – Ensure balance is maintained between full price sales and markdown sales. Monitor margins across deals, ensuring the cumulative margin is not negative. Preparation of budgets in conjunction with Sales team by Item Classification and Customer. Maintaining updated forecasts to ensure sufficient core stock is bought. Highlight sales that are at risk due to stock balances. Effective management of OTB in line with agreed targets (Sales, Margin and Stock). Monthly Core product OTB request to Corporate Seasonal critical path ensuring planning processes are executed timeously. Ensure Purchase Orders are placed timeously. Analysis of current season sales and stock. Verify the integrity of data to ensure good decisions are made. Report errors and shortcomings immediately. Update and analyse forward ordering reports weekly – report risks back to business. Sales related reports to BU Head, and relevant team members. Analysis per brand. Ad hoc reports as required by management Preparation of detailed top-level reports for post seasonal. Monthly reports for executive meetings. Matric Exemption. BCom Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships. Strives for excellence. Functions effectively under pressure. Prioritizes work effectively and efficiently.
