PROCESS ENGINEER (Stamping) (Automotive Industry) – Pretoria National automotive components manufacturer is urgently looking to appoint a Process Engineer at their plant. Automotive industry experience is essential for this position as well as stamping / press Shift Position Qualifications & Experience Grade 12 Engineering tertiary qualification Total Quality Management qualificaiton Mechanical Diploma / Qualified Toolmaker advantageous Minimum of 3 year's quality / process engineering experience within the automotive stamping environment 2 Year's working experience in the use of quality core tools; SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plans ESSENTIAL Sound knowledge of Quality systems and concepts Manufacturing processes Customer Specific Requirements Understanding of stamping process & Measuring Report Essential Core Tool: FMEA, SPC, MSA & Control plans Planning and organising Analysis and presenting of data Advanced Computer skills Must have welding experience Analysis and implementation of correction actions – Robotic assembly ESSENTIAL Responsibilities Understanding of stamping process & measuring reports Essential Ensure customer requirements are met with regards to geometry and quality of the product delivered Manufacture and design of tooling for new products Quality systems and concepts Manufacturing processes Customer specific requirements Creating process documentation Ensure production targets are met Continues improvement projects Change management documentation Production capacity planning Customer requirements are met with regards to geometry and quality of the product delivered ONLY SOUTH AFRICAN CITIZENS NEED APPLY VALID DRIVER'S LICENCE WITH OWN TRANSPORT ESSENTIAL ONLY APPLICANTS THAT MEET THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS WILL BE CONSIDERED SALARY OFFERED TO SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL DEPEND ON QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Applicants who have not been contacted within 14 days should consider their applications as having been unsuccessful
