Unique Personnel boasts over 50 years (established in 1970) of personnel and staffing experience, so it's not surprising that even though our main focus has been providing on South African Staffing Solutions, we now recruit internationally for over 5000 clients Primary Objective The main focus and purpose of this position is to provide and communicate product education to Distributors, create and maintain support relationships and lines of communication with Distributors and their Teams. To assist the Department in handling Distributors' product queries. Responsible for updating, running and maintaining the Company's Resource Centre, and assisting Distributors with Product Related Questions. Supporting Product and Sales Training. Providing administrative/secretarial support to the Product Department as well as the Marketing Department when necessary. Main TasksThe role is directly accountable for the following outputs that constitute the main tasks of the position: Assisting with the management of the Company's Product Functions Handling and responding to product-related queries from Distributors by telephone, email, fax Assist to conduct training on product knowledge for Distributors and internal staff Updating product literature and other resource material for the department Setting up databases of information relevant to job purpose Sourcing relevant articles/ information for the Resource Centre Copying of information for the Resource Centre Logging of Resource material onto Product Database Managing of subscriptions for the Resource Centre Assisting Distributors in Resource Centre with requests for information Keeping records and filing information Using IT technology whenever possible in overall job activities Attending meetings and seminars related to health / nutritional supplements and cosmetics industries Compiling reports on business information support activities Liaising with other departments in the Company e.g. Quality Assurance, Distributor Relations and other areas within Sales and Marketing Handling assignments and Special Projects as assigned by Vice President/s Completing tasks timeously Submitting reports timeously Successfully building positive relationships with Distributors and Teams Working as part of a team towards department goals Managing job functions in a professional manner Personal development on-the job Technical Skills Basic knowledge of nutrition, preferably with a qualification in related health sciences from a recognized tertiary institution Be prepared to travel from time to time essential Sales and Marketing experience will be an advantage Advertising and/Network Marketing experience helpful Public Relations Qualification will be an advantage Relevant Computer Skills Valid driver's license Excellent Communication skills are essential Prepared to assist with conducting product training / doing basic product presentations Strong organisational skills and ability to work on various projects simultaneously Ability to work as part of a team Responsibly for the effective running of the Company's Resource Centre Effective handling of Distributor product related queries Admin/secretarial responsibilities and lending this support to the Marketing department Attention to detail Skilled in information compilation, storage, retrieval and archiving Positive “can-do” attitude Must demonstrate ability to follow accurately, interpret and implement ideas from others, offer creative initiative and work within time constraints Behavioral Skills Good interpersonal/relationship-building skills Good business acumen Negotiation skills – ability to influence Visionary and innovative Translate strategy into action – initiating action Strategic decision-making and sound judgment Maximise team performance - leadership Effective communication and presentation skills Risk/Stress tolerant Entrepreneurial flair Ability to make sound and balanced decisions Important Values – Honesty, Mutual Respect and Integrity Apply Now
