Identifies, defines and undertakes immediate, water infrastructure and new, and New Water Programme and other project implementation Provides inputs to the utilization, productivity and performance of personnel within the Infrastructure & Project Implementation Section of Bulk Water Prepares Capital and Operating estimates within a planned project, and manages and controls expenditure against the approved budget allocations Management of multi-disciplinary project teams for investigations, design, project management, contract administration, construction supervision, commissioning and hand-over of major/minor future infrastructure, upgrades of present Infrastructure and operational driven technical projects, Provides Engineering guidance, maintains technical standards and infrastructure, and the protects rights Disseminates functional, planning, project implementation and operational information on the immediate, short and long term bulk water initiatives, objectives, problems and constraints Ensures correct and efficient written communication with internal and external parties and the safekeeping thereof. A BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering A minimum of six (6) years' relevant experience in design and project management in the technical/ civil engineering field Professional registration or eligible for registration as a Pr.Eng A valid driver's licence TCOE SALARY: R961 945 to R1 350 961 PER ANNUM
