Reference: PTA000549-SN-1 A Client based in Cape Town, Somerset West is looking for a young and vibrant Project Accountant . Cost Analysis : Review financial records, track expenses, and calculate costs related to projects Budgeting : Record and Maintain Project specific budgets on Zoho and ensure that expenses align with the project's budgets and financial targets (Project budgets are given to you, but you will need to capture them on Zoho Timetracker) Cost Efficiency : Identify areas for cost reduction and recommend strategies to improve efficiency and profitability of a specific project and future projects Reporting : Provide managers with insightful costing information, helping them make informed decisions for current and future projects Cost allocation Project Journals: Ensure all weekly and monthly project journals for Subsistence and Salaries/wages are written Stock allocation Project Journals: Double check the Project Journals written against the specific project by the Creditors Clerk Debtors : Process all Customer invoices – Project related, as well as Asset Management invoices Debtors: Ensure Customers pay in a timely manner Payments: Ensure that Adhoc Payments' banking details are verified by the Creditors Clerk Payments: Load all daily, weekly and monthly payments on to the Online Banking platform to be authorized by Bank Authorisers Subsistence Recon: Maintenance of Subsistence spreadsheet Project Related summaries and spreadsheets: Maintain any other project related spreadsheets R 35 000 - R 45 000 - Monthly
