Client is seeking a meticulous and experienced QA Consultant with specialized knowledge in HVAC systems and construction processes. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our HVAC installations and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, and a thorough understanding of construction standards and regulations. Responsibilities: Conduct inspections and quality audits of HVAC installations and construction projects according to company standards and regulatory requirements. Verify compliance with specifications, codes, and standards applicable to HVAC systems and construction practices. Document inspection findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality issues and implement corrective measures. Provide technical guidance and support to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in design reviews and construction meetings to identify potential quality issues and recommend improvements. Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection reports, test procedures, and quality control plans. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the HVAC industry and/or construction sector. In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques. Familiarity with construction codes, regulations, and quality standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NEC, OSHA). Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or similar are a plus. Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
