Reference: CPT000588-VN-1 Our international agriculture client is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their dynamic team in Stellenbosch. R25 000 - R27 000 PM | Perm | On-site | Stellenbosch | Start ASAP Requirements: Ability to work without close supervision. Interest in solving problems and contributing to intellectual debates. Interest in developing trusting relationships with colleagues. Ability to cope well under pressure. Effective time management. Detail orientation. Commitment to finishing tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Assist with fruit analysis for research and development trials, including data capture and sample collection. Collection and delivery of fruit samples as required by the technical team during the production season. Assist with operational requirements of trial setups, including arranging and setting up trial equipment. QC Inspections and training Research and development trial assistance QC administration assistance Weekly visits to packhouse and picking stations. Trouble shoot quality issues and concerns with the packhouse/grower. Inform packhouses of any local and export depot related quality issues and rejections. Produce comprehensive visit reports following packhouse and grower visits, assisting in quality-related decision-making – internally and to the packhouse/grower. Inspection site locations: Western Cape, Northern South Africa (JHB, Tzaneen, Northwest & Lowveld) and Zimbabwe. Record and submit reports for fruit rejections, both internally and to third-party entities. Assist customer technologist with fruit allocation and approvals, either directly through fruit sampling feedback or indirectly based on quality insights.
