A vacancy has risen for a Quality Control Manager in the SHEQ Department at PIMMS Group. Applications are invited from Suitably qualified and responsible person to fill the above-mentioned position. Lead and manage the QC team to ensure all products meet quality standards. Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and processes. Conduct regular inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods. Ensure all products meet specifications and compliance requirements. Monitor and control the injection moulding process to ensure consistent product quality. Identify and troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions. Continuously improve QC processes to enhance efficiency and product quality. Perform technical evaluations of products after New Product Development (NPD), New Product Onboarding (NPO), and/or Engineering Change Orders (ECO). Ensure new and modified products meet all technical and quality standards. Ensure production processes are capable of achieving and maintaining set technical and quality standards. Provide guidance and support to production teams to address any quality-related issues. Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities and findings. Prepare and present regular reports on quality control metrics and issues. Train, mentor, and supervise QC staff to ensure a high level of competence and performance. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to quality control in injection moulding. Work closely with customers to understand their quality requirements and ensure these are met Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality standards. Oversee the maintenance and calibration of QC equipment and tools. Ensure the availability and proper use of QC tools and resources. Matric Bachelor's degree in quality, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control within the injection moulding industry. Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and materials. Proficiency in quality control methodologies and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO standards). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and accuracy The remuneration package will be in accordance with the PIMMS Group schedule of salaries
