Reference: SW004953-JM-1 My client, a leading fruit exporter based in the Northern Suburbs is seeking to employ a Quality Controller with a relevant qualification and previous experience as a QC in the fruit industry. The purpose of this role is to ensure that all fruits meet stringent quality standards before they are shipped to customers. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, identifying defects or irregularities, and implementing corrective actions to maintain product quality. Responsibilities: Conducting quality inspections on incoming and outgoing fruits according to established protocols. Monitoring and evaluating fruit quality based on color, size, weight, and other specified criteria. Implementing quality control procedures to minimize defects and ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborating with production teams to address quality issues and improve processes. Maintaining accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken. Requirements: Relevant degree / diploma Fully bilingual Previous experience in a similar role within the fruit industry. Strong knowledge of fruit quality parameters and grading standards. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness to travel Own vehicle and valid license
