Escalating serious non-conformances related to the quality pillar Approval of site quality procedures Rejection of food safety related non-conforming products Placing product on hold, recommending the rejection of quality related non-conforming products Implement and manage quality management systems Ensure adherence and maintenance of QMS admin Develop and implement quality related SOP's and Work instructions Drive and track quality KPI's Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders (Municipality, government bodies) Manage and host external audits Ensure compliance to all relevant legal, statutory, and internal requirements/standards and validation thereof. Implement, maintain, and test site traceability systems. Site custodian of all specifications and ensure adherence. Implement and manage HACCP/VACCP and TACCP Develop, implement, monitor, and review HACCP/VACCP/TACCP studies Implement and manage allergen control program Ensure compliance to pre-requisite program. Ensure compliance to micro requirements and standards. Implement and ensure compliance to hygiene standards Develop and validate cleaning procedures Management of measurement and testing equipment and processes. Manage incoming raw material and drive compliance to specification. Implement sampling plans. Manage supplier performance. Manage Work in progress and finish product release. Reporting of all non-conforming product oManage equipment calibration / verification program Lead Quality Improvement program Support non-conformance system. Analyze, review, report customer feedback and drive continuous improvement. Implement and monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement for strategic suppliers. Ensure process capability and drive improvement / optimization. Assist with quality loss reduction projects. Support Innovation & Change Drive quality improvement projects. Input into the product innovation. Support trails. Manage People, Culture & Linkage Conduct quality training. Assist HACCP team and other functional teams. Support quality culture building activities. Excellent communication skills written and oral. Computer literate Presentation skills Excellent planning, organizing and execution skills. Result orientated Effective employee relation skills Ability to work under pressure Integrity and credibility Willing to deliver as per operational requirement Cost management against site budget. Be self-motivated and able to work without supervision. TQM or Quality qualification advantageous. Continuous improvement methodologies Sound working knowledge of the MS Office suite (Outlook; PowerPoint, Excel) MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION: Minimum 5 years' experience in FMCG.
