This role offers the opportunity to leverage your quantitative expertise and contribute to strategic decision-making processes. Duties and Responsibilities Data Analysis and Modelling : Develop, validate, and implement quantitative models for risk management, pricing, and forecasting. Research and Development : Conduct research to improve existing models and develop new methodologies for quantitative analysis. Reporting and Communication : Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights. Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including risk management, finance, and IT, to integrate quantitative models into business processes. Risk Management : Identify, measure, and mitigate risks through advanced statistical techniques and quantitative analysis. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all models and analytical processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Qualifications Education : Minimum BSc Honours in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Computational Science, or Data Science. Experience : At least 3 years of experience in quantitative analysis, preferably within the banking or financial services sector. Technical Skills : Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as Python, R, SAS, and SQL. Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver clear insights. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders. Teamwork : Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
