Reference: DBN002618-TK-1 A UK-based company is seeking a Recruitment Consultant for their recruitment agency in Umhlanga, South Africa, primarily focusing on IT recruitment for the UK market. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist the organisation in finding and hiring top talent to meet their client staffing needs. This position requires a keen understanding of both client requirements and candidate capabilities to ensure successful placements. Key Responsibilities: Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs and organizational culture. Advise clients on recruitment strategies, market trends, and best practices to attract top talent. Negotiate terms of business and contracts with clients. Candidate Sourcing and Assessment: Source potential candidates through various channels (e.g., job boards, social media, networking, referrals). Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for specific roles. Present candidates to clients and facilitate interview processes. Placement and Follow-Up: Coordinate interview schedules and feedback between clients and candidates. Guide candidates through the hiring process, including negotiating salary and benefits. Ensure smooth onboarding of new hires and follow up to ensure client and candidate satisfaction. Market Intelligence and Networking: Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and employment legislation. Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of interactions with clients and candidates using CRM systems. Prepare reports and provide regular updates to clients on recruitment activities. Requirements: Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant or similar role in recruitment or staffing. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Strong understanding of recruitment processes and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple client accounts. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate databases. Personal Attributes: Results-oriented with a drive for achieving targets and goals. Problem-solving skills with a proactive and creative approach. High level of integrity and professionalism. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
