Reference: SW004949-ML2-1 STRAND - My client is seeking an organized and experienced Rental Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the real estate industry, possess strong administrative skills, and be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English. A personal vehicle is essential for this role, as you will be required to travel to various properties Key Requirements Previous proven experience in the real estate industry, specifically in rental management Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain positive tenant relationships Must own a reliable vehicle and possess a valid driver's license Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism Willingness to work outside regular business hours when necessary Key Responsibilities Property Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of rental properties, ensuring that all operations run smoothly Tenant Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service Lease Administration: Prepare, review, and manage lease agreements, renewals, and terminations. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies Property Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance and safety standards are upheld. Address any issues promptly Maintenance Coordination: Liaise with contractors and maintenance personnel to schedule and oversee repairs and maintenance work Financial Management: Assist in collecting rent, handling arrears, and managing financial records. Prepare and present financial reports as required Marketing and Advertising: Assist in the marketing and advertising of rental properties, including listing properties online and coordinating showings Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all rental properties, tenant information, and transactions Compliance: Ensure all rental properties comply with local laws, regulations, and health and safety standards Reporting: Generate regular reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and other relevant metrics.
