Safety Manager Wynberg – Gauteng The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety plans, enforcing policies, assessing risk, and ensuring compliance with legal guidelines. You will conduct training, investigate incidents, and provide recommendations for improvement, aiming to create a safe and compliant workplace environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Formulate safety policies in accordance with South African laws and industry standards. Update policies regularly to ensure compliance with new regulations. Conduct Risk Assessments: Perform comprehensive risk assessments on construction sites. Identify potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and Construction Regulations. Maintain up-to-date records of compliance documentation. Training and Education: Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors. Ensure all personnel are aware of safety procedures and regulations.
