We are currently seeking a Site supervisor (Safety Orientated) to oversee operations at our client's site. Location : Prospecton Job title : Site supervisor (Safety Orientated) Duties and Responsibilities: Tool box talk with staff members at the site. Ensuring full staff compliment at the beginning of shift Ensuring PPE compliance Ensuring that the staff have valid licenses (forklift etc) and induction cards are visible at all times. Safety walks Raise SIO's (Safety Incident Observation) General overall safety at the plant. Desired Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years' experience in similar field. Qualification: Must have Grade 12, Matric or NQF4 equivalent qualification Qualification in Health and Safety or other related field. SAMTRAC Certificate (required) Minimum requirements: Knowledge of the OHS Act, LRA, BCEA. Ability to lead, motivate and influence others to achieve Health and safety objectives Own Vehicle Ability to work various shifts. Clear criminal record.
