Sales and Marketing Executive - Johannesburg

Minimum requirements:
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree
  • Understanding of construction industry specifically in concrete formworks.
  • Exceptional sales acumen with a proven trackrecord of Sales Growth.
  • MBA or equivalent degree would be advantageous.
  • 5 -7+ years of relevant experience in the construction sector.
  • Strong business acumen with a grasp of financial and economic concepts.
  • Demonstrated success in navigating complex markets and seizing emerging opportunities.

Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Create and implement independent sales plans to achieve company goals.
  • Identify and cultivate leads to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Manage client contracts, including administration, negotiation, and setup.
  • Use market analysis to develop sales strategies for maximizing revenue and growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Monitor commercial activities and performance metrics for effectiveness and improvement.
  • Set financial targets and contribute to budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Prepare reports and oversee budgeting processes for data-driven decisions.
  • Manage sales and marketing department tasks, including forecasting and reporting.
  • Track sales performance metrics and OKRs to identify improvement areas.
  • Marketing Strategy and Brand Building:
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate on marketing collateral, digital campaigns, and PR initiatives.
  • Analyse market trends and competitors to find differentiation opportunities.
  • Lead the creation of thought leadership content to establish industry authority.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Provide support and sales assistance to current and potential customers.
  • Ensure timely responses to inquiries and concerns.
  • Collect customer feedback to guide product and service improvements.
