Our client is seeking a Sales Assistant who will be positioned in our client's front office interacting with a wide range of clients. We are looking for a person with strong administration and people skills.
Responsibilities:
Connect with walk in or phone-in customers, able to converse with them successfully to identify and understand their needs.
Raise manual, hand-written invoices correctly.
UseMS Excel to generate quotes, check invoice values and so on. A good knowledge of basic Excel functions is important.
Manage client orders with a manual order filing system.
Communicate in person, by email & by phone including answering switchboard telephone lines.
Maintain good relationships especially with existing high value customers.
Cross training. Being a small team, we all cross-train so this person will be expected to be versatile, flexible, learning different roles quickly, part of a dynamic team.

Qualifications:
Good mathematics, calculation skills with calculator, able to add, multiply and subtract figures accurately and quickly.
Full Drivers license.
