Unique Personnel boasts over 50 years (established in 1970) of personnel and staffing experience, so it's not surprising that even though our main focus has been providing on South African Staffing Solutions, we now recruit internationally for over 5000 clients ACTIVITIES & RELATED CORE COMPETENCIES MARKET ANALYSIS AND MONITORING Conducts market research to support sales activity Carries out technical / sales studies Collates and shares information about competitors, market structure and potential opportunities for development Creates and presents sales action plans based on results from market analysis, highlighting objectives and recommended methods Ensures reliability and consistency of client data using available information systems, monitoring the financial situation and economic performance of customers Collates information on a prospective client assessing customer risks (activities, organisation, credit records) CREATION OF SALES OFFER Adjusts a trade bid according to client's expectations and to competitor's offers Prepares quotations and formal proposals which meet client needs and specifications using per-defined criteria Presents and explains quotations, providing advices guiding customer's decision where appropriate Sets sales payment terms (credit limits, payment timeframes, etc) SALES DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT Sources leads using various resources and assesses priorities in sales areas to be developed in the agreed perimeter in line with COMPANY market strategy Identifies opportunities for developing sales with a customer for all COMPANY's service offerings, and particularly international services Manages sales prospect activities: identifies targets for sales campaigns and during phone calls determines commercial viability of prospects requiring follow-up actions Conducts feasibility analysis, assessing the technical, commercial and financial feasibility of the needs and requirements of a client Locates a prospective client's decision maker and provides advices and recommendations guiding the customer's decision or solving outstanding issues, where appropriate Chooses the solution which most closely matches client needs bearing all operational, financial and lead-times constraints in mind. SALES NEGOTIATION Adapts negotiation strategy according to the sales challenge, presenting the advantages and limits for the customer Carries out sales negotiations (price, quantity, timeframe, etc.), explains and gains agreement for standard terms and conditions with a client Understands basic legal and contractual terms and conditions and negotiates contract conditions and clauses Encourages clients to close the deal and concludes a business negotiation with a commercial agreement (contract signature, arrangement of meeting, tariff renegotiation) CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP AND RELATIONAL TECHNIQUES Prepares and monitors customer relations: plans clients visits, sales interviews and follow up contact schedule with clients, prioritising based on sales objectives agreed Prepares for sales interviews: identifies client's expectations and concerns, defines objectives and identifies key points to be brought forward ahead of business meetings Develops her/his client portfolio, ensuring information is accurate and actions are clarified and followed up Defines and puts in place strategies to ensure client loyalty Adapts language and behavior to different type of customers and defuses tensions, always displaying professionalism Listens and demonstrates interest and availability to customers queries Receives and monitors observations and complaints while representing the company's interests (delivery timescale, etc) Creates and maintains a network of contacts, always demonstrating corporate values in her/his behaviour TRANSVERSAL COORDINATION Coordinates and communicates transversally to mobilise internal parties in order to provide an appropriate response to customer needs. Engages and establishes quality dialogue and trust with internal parties involved. Shares objectives, monitors and communicates progress achieved with internal parties involved. COMPLIANCE WITH HEALTH AND SAFETY, QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS Applies and enforces Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations. Adheres to and respects Operational standards at all time. Takes responsibility for own safety, ensuring work is safe and hazard free. Reports all accidents, near misses or hazardous situations to their superiors within 24 hours, however insignificant they may seem. Work with Management to identity hazards and reduce risks, suggesting any improvement designed to preserve health and safety, quality and environment. Contributes towards improving safety and work environment and safeguards oneself and others.
