Unique Personnel boasts over 50 years (established in 1970) of personnel and staffing experience, so it's not surprising that even though our main focus has been providing on South African Staffing Solutions, we now recruit internationally for over 5000 clients PURPOSE: Plan, drive and execute activity to increase product penetration and improve margins within the local Market, and achieve sales, and margin targets RESPONSIBILITIES To achieve or better Sales Budgets and Gross Margin Budgets for relevant Sales Area(s), being accountable for same. To identify, qualify and sell to relevant customers and prospects, focusing on product/market applications consistent with Company guidelines. To develop and maintain close contact with relevant customer companies, ensure good business relationships between both parties, and promote a positive image of the Company. To recommend and implement selling tactics that will ensure that Company supply share is maintained and improved at relevant customers. To ensure the Company has the opportunity to quote for all relevant new packaging requirements, and for existing requirements where a real possibility exists for a change in supply status, where these requirements are within Company capabilities and consistent with sales guidelines. To ensure supply proposals or quotations are presented to customers and prospects in an appropriately creative and professional manner and consistent with Company sales guidelines. To maintain an awareness of movements and developments within all industries (and competitors) associated with our Company's products. To liaise with customer, Production and Marketing personnel to ensure smooth supply continuity, negotiating best compromise where necessary. To collect, collate and disseminate information to the Sales Manager in relation to competitor activity, market information, and market trends and products development. Ensure full utilisation of Customer KPI records as executional aid and management tool across the territory/group of customers. Create Account Plans and conduct regular reviews against objectives for strategic customers agreed with Sales Manager Ensure all transactions and dealings on behalf of the company SA are made in accordance with all Company policies and procedures including Cash on Delivery (CODs), Customer Stock Holding and Pricing Guidelines (Price List, Price Deviation and Print Rate Supplements). Operate and maintain company mobile phone in line with company policy. Timely and accurate completion of all reporting as requested by the Sales Manage Proficiency in Microsoft Office Current Driver's License essential Strong personal accountability matched with ability to integrate within team focused environment Displays integrity, leads by example- and sets the consistently high standards for others to emulate.
