Motor Industry - Automotive Aftermarket Vehicle component wholesaler in Umhlanga requires a Parts Sales Person for internal sales in a call center based sales environment. Business specialises in motor vehicle body panels, cooling systems, suspension and engine systems. Your knowledge of these types of components across all makes and models will give you an advantage over other candidates in this role. The successful incumbent will form part of the sales team and will be responsible for serving customers in a call center based environment while boosting sales through pro-active selling and marketing of products to new and existing customers. Job Objectives: Sales Achieve sales targets by selling product portfolio Service the call center for sales purposes (includes but not limited to sales orders, quotations, etc.) Sell and promote new stock, slow moving stock and special campaigns. Customer Relationship Management Assist with and resolve all sales related queries from customers Assist and resolve return for credit related queries. To grow the customer base year on year. To increase market share by growing business with existing customers and bringing in new customers. Sales and forecasting analysis to foster growth. Liaise with internal departments on all sales related matters. Business Development and Market Intelligence Build business / market intelligence in relation to products, pricing and customer information. Knowledge sharing related topics within the industry. Special Knowledge, skills and abilities : Product Knowledge Sales ability Negotiation skills Functional Numeracy and literacy SAP an advantage Post Matric studies in Sales or Marketing an advantage Call Center experience an advantage Marketing skills We are looking for people who are: Results driven Have a strong commercial knowledge Customer Orientation Persuasive Strong Communication skills Must be willing and able to work Saturdays.
