Description Job Title: Sales Representative Location: Gqeberha Job purpose: The Sales Representative is required to build relationships with Architects, Engineers, and other Design professionals. This role is crucial to growing sales within the architectural and engineering market. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of architectural coatings, building materials, and industry codes, and will leverage this knowledge to consult with A&E firms on specifying the right paint products for their projects. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with Architects, Engineers, and other specifiers. Conduct regular calls on A&E firms to identify project opportunities. Understand project requirements and propose paint solutions that meet aesthetic, performance, and budgetary needs. Provide technical expertise on paint products, including features, benefits, and code compliance. Collaborate with internal teams to develop project specifications, proposals, and presentations. Attend industry events and trade shows to build brand awareness and network with potential clients. Track sales opportunities and maintain accurate customer records. Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets. Skills Needed: Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the building materials or construction industry. In-depth knowledge of architectural coatings, including product types, applications, and performance characteristics. Understanding of building materials, codes, and construction practices. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the Leads To Business platform will be advantageous Strong ability to build relationships and gain trust with clients. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Experience working with the A&E community. Knowledge of sustainable building practices and LEED certification. AutoCAD or Revit software experience (a plus).
