Our client is a well-established company who has established its niche firmly in the construction and building industry, and home DIY market. They have an opportunity available for an experienced Sales Representatives at their Fourways, Randburg and Roodepoort branch. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES AMONG OTHERS BUT NOT LIMITED TO INCLUDE: Maintain good customer relations and serve their rental and sales needs. Manage customer accounts with admin staff. Deal with customer complaints and solve customer problems within the framework of the organization. Assist branch manager with admin relating to the branch for ± 3-4 hours per day in the branch where required. Work the counter in a branch from time to time. Open and close store with all security procedures required. Coordinate deliveries and collections for customers. Ensure and follow-up on customer satisfaction with machinery. Coordinate breakdowns and replacements, personally carry out replacements when needed. Evaluate opportunities in the market, generate and follow leads. Generate customer related documents where required, quotes, sales orders, agreements, invoices, applications etc. Site visits as per customer requirements or to maintain company presence on sites where required. Manage internal and external communications relating to customers. Bring new customers into the business and retain them. Managing cash and processing customer payments EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 5 years proven work experience as an External/Direct Sales Representative – a must Fluent in English and Afrikaans - a must Must be proficient in MS Office packages Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills Excellent Negotiation skills Excellent numerical competence Excellent Customer Service skills Ability to work Independently and in a Team Must be able to travel Must have a Valid driver's licence and reliable own vehicle Matric Presentable – well dress and groomed Hours of Work You will be required to work from 07h00 to 17h00 Mondays to Fridays And from 07h00 to 12h00 on Saturdays. You are required to work every second Saturday in a branch. Currently you will be required to work every Saturday until there is suitable stand-in personnel. Additional Saturdays will be remunerated. Starting and ending everyday in a branch, ± 2hours each morning and each afternoon R14000-R18000 per month subject to experience - Petrol Allowance and Commission
