A prominent local entity in the manufacturing and packaging industry is seeking a Business Process and SAP Support Manager to join their team. The role reports directly to the Regional Finance Executive. Purpose of the role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Process and SAP Support Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing SAP support and business process management, ensuring compliance with regional regulations, and leading a team of Business Process Support Analysts. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of SAP modules and business processes. Key Responsibilities: SAP Support and Issue Resolution Assist SAP users with daily transactions and procedures. Respond to user inquiries or escalate issues within 24 hours. Compile and escalate queries to Group SAP Support as needed. Collaborate with Group SAP Support and consultants to resolve issues. Business Process Management Evaluate and enhance business processes. Implement improvements and create SAP cue cards. Conduct on-the-job training for users. Master Data Management Create and maintain costing and master data in accordance with established protocols. Coordinate and execute data cleaning activities. Costing Analysis Assess the impact of master data and pricing conditions on financial statements. Execute and analyse monthly costing runs. Key Performance Reports Manage the accuracy and timelines of daily, weekly, and monthly key performance reports. Collaboration and Project Implementation Work with regional and group SAP teams to implement projects and developments. Implement projects such as Material Requirement Planning, Quality Management, Plant Maintenance. Reporting and Documentation Keep a ticket tracking register with detailed record of issues and solutions. Develop and maintain a performance tracking dashboard. Compliance and Regulations Navigate economic and regulatory challenges. Ensure SAP system compliance with South African, Zambian and Swaziland laws and regulations. SAP Authorization Management Manage SAP user authorization and role allocations according to company policies. Team Management Oversee and manage Business Process Support Analysts. Ensure team performance standards are met and provide guidance and support as needed. Qualifications and Experience Required: Relevant Degree: Business Administration or related Proven work experience in SAP support and issue resolution. (5-10 years working experience) Strong understanding of business processes within SAP modules: FI, MM, PP, QM, SD. Proficiency in Excel Ability to manage master data and understand financial implications Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communications and collaboration skills Customer service oriented, patient, and supportive Effective time management skills: Manage multiple support requests Management experience: 2 staff: SAP Support Analysts Negotiable
