In this role, you will work closely with our Head Accountant, overseeing the daily activities of our accounting staff to ensure the timely and accurate recording of the company's financial transactions. If you are an accomplished finance leader ready to embrace this challenging and rewarding role, please submit your resume to Kate at Katesalixrecruitment.co.za Duties: Analyze trial balance accounts, identify errors, and raise journals Perform balance sheet and nominal account reconciliations Maintain organized financial records and files Resolve complex accounting issues Prepare annual financial statements, audit files, and ad hoc reports Supervise, direct, and review the work of the accounting staff Oversee and review monthly payroll and SARS returns Manage VAT reviews, returns, and submissions Handle COIDA submissions Calculate and complete Provisional and Income Tax Returns Prepare, analyze, interpret, and present management statements Compile budgets and forecasts Monitor and manage cash flow Perform other administrative or financial duties as required Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom Accounting / BCom Accounting Science CTA CA(SA) NON-NEGOTIABLE Experience: Completed articles Minimum 3-5 years post article experience Advanced knowledge of Excel formulas, including pivot tables Strong understanding of tax regulations Proficient in IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, Companies Act, and accounting regulations Skills & Competencies: High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong leadership and supervisory skills Excellent analytical skills and the ability to prepare accurate reports promptly If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
