Company Company supplies a variety of industrial gases for various applications including LPG, helium, carbonation, welding, dry ice, calibration gas and saturation diving. They supply multiple sizes of gas cylinders and many come complete with an integrated high-pressure regulator or manifold Purpose Responsible for assisting with the preparation of the monthly management reports, annual consolidated financial statements as well as general corporate accounting issues in order to ensure the integrity of the financial data. Responsibilities Prepare the quarterly and annual financial statements and supporting working papers. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve differences. Work with operations on budget control and cost tracking. Prepare monthly management accounts. Maintain Masterfile information (creditors, debtors, payroll, assets) on the accounting system. Process and ensure timely bank payments. Manage liabilities and commitments within budget constraints, including recording, reconciliation and settlement. Perform month-end and year-end accounts closure process. Prepare statutory and other SARS returns for submission. Maintain statutory and other required registers with supporting documents, including register of payments, insurance claims, register of gifts and fixed assets register. Assist with on-going and newly created projects. Work with various internal teams and build strong relationships. Requirements Bachelor of Commerce Accounting Degree, Bachelor of Technology in Accounting or equivalent Completed SAICA Articles Minimum 1-2 years post Articles experience a Financial Accountant Experience with completion of statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL) R25 000 - R30 000 Ctc Per Month
