We're accepting applications for the position of Senior Tower Inspection and Compliance Specialist. The purpose of this position will be to take responsibility for complete end-to-end technical operations, service provider contract performance management, and overseeing the process of identifying the appropriate service providers and ensuring that all service delivery compliance requirements are aligned with the technical and commercial requirements of the specific business unit. This role requires the ability to closely work with various stakeholders, including legal, finance, supply chain management, health and safety, information and technology and other compliance departments to ensure effective service delivery. Ensuring the integrity of tower infrastructure by implementing the Tower Analysis and Modification Programme, as well as the Tower Maintenance and Rectification Programme Driving effective negotiations in establishing agreements with contractors and customers Identifying and escalating, where necessary, risks associated with tower infrastructure and providing risk mitigation solutions Developing, updating, improving and implementing quality assurance processes for new build and operational activities Working with other areas in Operations and Project Department to ensure that all tower-related works by contractors are adequately monitored for compliance with quality standards Ensuring tower infrastructure and customer equipment databases are maintained Maintaining detailed knowledge of tower infrastructure service contracts and warranties Preparing and managing budgets for tower maintenance activities Establishing team goals and developing tracking metrics to ensure that expectations and service levels are being met and providing regular status reports to the Head of Operations Fostering and managing relationships with both internal and external customers and answering any tower infrastructure related questions they may have Reviewing and analysing tower maintenance reports as submitted by vendors and other partners Providing technical direction to maintenance contractors during the execution of works Monitoring tower maintenance works and deliverables to ensure that maintenance contractors execute their duties in accordance with the terms of the Tower Maintenance Agreement for both owned and managed sites Reviewing tower structures and foundations using hand calculations, tower analysis software and other accepted engineering methods Monitoring tower maintenance and rectification works to ensure that they are completed in a timely manner Ensuring on-site liaison is done with maintenance contractors at the regional and central levels whenever necessary Verifying and reconciling all contractor invoices for payments Routinely reviewing the installed infrastructure and timely producing swap-out plans and budgets for the replacement of equipment that is due Ensuring the development and maintenance of accurate records for the entire infrastructure Designing and reviewing maintenance routines and procedures within the maintenance function to achieve desired effectiveness and efficiency Providing leadership and supporting teams within a specific region Relevant Electrical, Mechanical, Facilities or Construction Degree or Diploma essential A project management qualification is desirable At least 5 to 8 years' experence in telecommunications tower inspection and compliance Proven experience in a contract management or related field Excellent negotiation and communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage contracts In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements Familiarity with contract management software and tools
