Reference: JHB001364-DesM-1 Requirements: Qualification: B.Tech Electrical plus 10 years relevant experience B.Eng Electrical plus 9 years relevant experience M.Eng Electrical plus 7 years relevant experience Ph.D Electrical plus 5 years relevant experience Experience: Preferably come from a consulting engineering background; Previous experience on multi-disciplinary projects (Conceptual Stage to Construction Close-out); Held position of responsibility and accountable for designs and project delivery; Experienced with complete project lifecycle from inception to close-out Experience in operations and maintenance of electricity distribution systems Roles and Responsibilities: Develop requirements, investigations, information and other data for technical designs and trade of studies Direct and manage a project to completion within performance management baselines (scope, schedule, cost, resources and quality) Ensure contractors designs and installations comply with the organisation and statutory requirements Ensure site power operations complies with the organisation·s technical and quality requirements Ensure the quality of power received from Eskom meets the Electricity Supply Agreement conditions in place Contribute towards the graduate training program and mentor junior employees and site team Please Note: If you haven't received a response within two weeks, kindly regard your application for the vacancy as unsuccessful.
