As the organization continues to expand and innovate, they are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Project Risk Analyst to join their Governance & Control Advisory Services division. Role Overview The Senior Project Risk Analyst will play a pivotal role in Tier 1 Projects, providing expert risk analysis and management support. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with key projects, ensuring they align with the bank's strategic objectives and risk appetite. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, capable of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for Tier 1 projects, identifying potential risks and their impact on project success. Develop and implement risk management strategies and frameworks to mitigate identified risks. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to integrate risk management practices into project planning and execution. Monitor and report on risk exposure and the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle. Provide expert advice and recommendations on risk-related matters to the Divisional Head and project teams. Prepare detailed risk analysis reports and present findings to senior management. Ensure compliance with the bank's risk management policies and regulatory requirements. Foster a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement within the project teams. Duties Analyze project documentation, contracts, and financial statements to identify potential risks. Assess the probability and impact of identified risks and prioritize them accordingly. Develop risk response plans and recommend risk mitigation actions to project teams. Track and document project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring timely communication to stakeholders. Facilitate risk workshops and training sessions for project teams and stakeholders. Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and internal controls. Monitor industry trends and emerging risks, and update risk management practices accordingly. Lead regular risk review meetings and maintain risk registers for assigned projects. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in project risk management, preferably within the banking or financial services industry. Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and tools. Proven experience in managing risks in large-scale, complex projects. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
