We are seeking a highly skilled Project/Business Development Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our business development efforts through comprehensive data analysis, optimization of solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) designs, costing strategies for prospective clients, and conducting detailed feasibility studies for grid-tied and hybrid solar, BESS, and wheeling projects. Perform technical site inspections to assess solar and hybrid system viability. Interpret electrical single line diagrams for accurate system design. Develop conceptual designs for solar and hybrid energy systems. Execute detailed costing and simulations for solar system proposals. Optimize system designs to enhance efficiency and cost savings. Analyze the feasibility of various energy projects in detail. Provide mentorship and quality review for junior team members' work. Create financial models to assess power system economics. Utilize data analysis to drive strategic business development. Lead R&D efforts for innovative product and solution development. Maintain knowledge of cutting-edge energy technologies and market advancements. A Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. Three to five years of professional experience within the photovoltaic (PV) industry, with a focus on system design and feasibility analysis. A strong inclination towards renewable energy technologies, including solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and wind. Exceptional organizational skills with an attention to detail. A competitive mindset, demonstrating a drive to succeed and achieve business objectives. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with team members and stakeholders. The ability to engage with clients comfortably, providing clear explanations of technical concepts and building strong professional relationships.
