Reference: JHB006342-TM-1 Datacentrix Cape Town is looking for a Senior Support Engineer as a VMware support specialist to Provide Virtualisation infrastructure support. At least 10 years' experience supporting datacentre software in a senior position. Primary Role Accountabilities - Proactive analysis of system health with in depth reporting - Preventative maintenance - Architect new solutions - Assist with escalations from 2nd line support engineers - Technologies include (but not limited to) o Virtualisation: VMware vSphere, MS Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, Linux KVM o SRM with: Storage replication vVols vRep o vRealize Operations o Veeam backup and replication Critical Requirements - Skills, Experience & Qualifications Matric Qualification VCTA-DCV 2024 Ability to identify and understand problems, and find suitable solutions Conscious of delivering solutions on time Ability to clearly articulate problems and solutions with the technical team Self-managed
