Gijima Cloud Infrastructure Security Services – Infrastructure Services CLIENT: Heineken LOCATION: Cape Town PURPOSE: This position has the responsibility to ensure that the Gijima service offering remains relevant and be best of breed e.g. Gijima's ability to implement and provide 3rd Level Support services for Microsoft Intune. FORMAL EDUCATION: Matric (NQF3) Tertiary IT qualification (Degree, Diploma, MCSE) EXPERIENCE: Proven modern desktop management toolset technology experience. Solid development and scripting experience (e.g. PowerShell). Good working knowledge of Networking - TCP/IP (Configuration of client, client troubleshooting). Advanced understanding of the relationship between Entra ID and conditional access to mobile device management in Intune, as well as MDM/MAM strategies, solutions, and policies. Application packaging experience using various industry toolsets (e.g. Win32). Clear understanding of Intune configuration profiles/policies for Windows, iOS/iPadOS, macOS and Android devices. Azure fundamentals. High level understanding of the role Managed Google Play, Apple Business Manager, Apple Developer and Samsung Knox have in relation to Microsoft Intune. Good understanding of the various enrolment methods Intune has to offer as well as the purpose/benefit of each. TECHNICAL / LEGAL CERTIFICATION: Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals TIL Version 3 or higher (recommended) KEY COMPENTENCIES: Knowledge: Microsoft Intune. Creation & administration of packages and Intune configurations. Azure Fundamentals. Knowledge of IT operations, responsibilities, workflow processes and procedures. Proficient in Incident, Problem, and Change Management. Skills: Supporting and co-operating. Analysing and interpreting. Reporting. Organising and executing. Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, with colleagues and encourages open communication. Competencies: Self-starter, pragmatic, flexible and comfortable with ambiguity. Deciding and initiating action. Delivering results and meeting customer expectations. Applying expertise and technology. Planning and organising. RESPONSIBILITIES: Be part of a team that supports multiple platforms but focusing on Intune. Interact and consult with the customer to determine their requirements. Implement, configure, maintain, and continuously enhance Modern Desktop management toolsets such as Intune, and future related tools. Continuous service improvements – stay abreast of what Microsoft is doing. To effectively facilitate the environment for technical testing and research for proof of concepts, system upgrades and service improvement. Development and implementation of automation scripts, utilities, and reports to enhance maturity of environment. Identify and participate in developing integration layers with other workspace management toolsets. Establish, enhance, and drive daily health checks and configuration changes and participate in 3rd level stand-by to enhance performance and stability.
