Reference: CPT000391-LO-1 Our client that is based in Kempton Park, Gauteng with operations in the mining sector has a vacancy for a suitably qualified Fire Detection Scada Specialist to offer technical specialised support on products. Responsibilities: Product management and marketing Installation, repairing, calibration, certification and technical support of electronic products and systems to the highest technical and safety standards on the specified mine/s. Troubleshoot problems to determine root cause of issue and recommend a corrective action. Responsible for the maintenance of the electronic equipment and software, according to company standards and if necessary, send to head office for repairs and follow through until product has returned to site. Operates hand tools and small power tools and understand their use and function. Completion of required documentation, reports and paperwork for the mine, customers and Technical coordinator / Supervisor. Qualification and Experience: N4 with 4 to 6 years- experience in electronics (hardware and software) and IT (hardware, networks and software) OR Trade qualification in electronic / electrical Good computer skills (Microsoft package). Valid driver's license. Own Vehicle.
