Storeman required by client in the manufacturing sector Stock control – record-keeping, receipting and dispatching, controls, systems and procedures, stock counting, and housekeeping Monitor stock of spares returned to the Stores by Technicians and Suppliers Record the receipt of all spares into stock Place all spares into the correct holding areas in the Stores Record all spares given to Technicians for boot stock Ensure that for all new spares issued to the Technicians correspond with the return of faulty / swapped-out spares (notify management if this does not balance) Distribute spares to the branches nationally, and maintain records of all despatched spares Receive spares returned from the branches and place in the correct areas in the Stores Monitor stockholding Order / replenishment stock of spares Conduct monthly stock counts Compile stock count report and submit to management Ensure that the Stores are kept neat and tidy Keep all paperwork up-to-date and filed away Adhere to Health and Safety protocols Matric Computer literate At least 2 years' relevant Stores experience SAP Forklift license Strong report-writing skills Strong admin skills Able to work independently Pays attention to detail Excellent communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Able to multitask and prioritize work load
