Support Officer - Higher Education/Learning Ref: Lestyn Rneg - Headcount Personnel Consultants - Midrand

The Learning Support Officer is responsible for coordinating our online and on-campus learning programs. The LSO liaises daily with multiple students, lecturers, and staff. This role will also include duties such as course scheduling; data entry; processing course registrations and other administrative tasks. Daily communication with students, teaching staff and the Higher Education team, maintaining student records and the Learning Management System (Moodle), assisting with tutorial scheduling, course registrations and other administrative tasks. Answering customer queries Receiving registrations from students and registering them on the courses you are coordinating. Coordinating courses (scheduling of webinars, liaising with lecturers, compiling course materials, creating and sending certificates, maintaining accurate records on Truss for all of your courses and adhering to all compliance requirements) Liaising with overseas offices regarding courses Quality monitoring Ensure that the courses you coordinate fully comply with all the Standards for Registered Training Organizations 2015 and/or the Higher Education Standards Framework 2015, whichever applies to the course you are coordinating. Implementing company policies and procedures Training lecturers and students on the use of Blackboard Ultra Assisting in the scheduling of courses (add to database/ website) Working with and maintaining the Moodle site Providing assistance to the Higher Education Manager and your colleagues Assisting with accounts Ad hoc tasks as required by the college manager. Implementing and complying with company copies and procedures. Minimum 3 years Administration experience. Compliance experience essential. Exposure to online and international training. Ability to work under pressure and keep to deadlines. Ability to juggle multiple tasks. Exceptional customer service skills. Previous experience in the South African education industry.
