KPA - Technical Rep Brackenfell Salary: Market Related KPA - Provide accurate / efficient technical assistance to in-house departments and provide an outstanding service. DUTIES: a. Supervision b. Site inspections c. In-house measurements d. Technical expertise e. Technical training f. Submit Claims & warranty applications Responsibilities: a. Contributing to the development of the technical strategy and plans which contribute to the overall business objectives. b. Managing and efficient supervision of the technical department c. Managing, maintaining and exceeding drawing register due dates d. Attending to technical sales enquiries e. Site visits, final inspections for guarantee occupational certificate inspections trouble shooting inspections f. Attending to in-house measurement requests g. Providing an effective technical service to the external marketing arm h. Managing & controlling the progress of drawing enquiries through to a successful generation of roofing layouts as required. i. Providing assistance to sales and production departments in respect of all technical areas j. Gathering and sharing of market intelligence with all stakeholders k. Communicating and assistance in resolving customer complaints l. Administering of technical training and advice to all stakeholders m. Attendance in and participation of stock takes, conference attendance and training sessions n. Any other duties and tasks as assigned by management from time to time Required Skills Customer Support: 5 to 6 years Internal Sales Representative: 3 to 4 years Draughting: 3 to 4 years Representative: 5 to 6 years Technical Sales Exp: 3 to 4 years Dealing With Architects: 3 to 4 years Candidate Requirements Education & Experience Matric / Grade 12 Draughting certification Advantage: Degree level qualification in relevant technical discipline 5 YEARS IN TECHNICAL FIELD OR RELATED AREA Skills: a. Client liaison /interpersonal skills b. People management skills c. Strong admin skills d. Relationship building with other business units e. Service driven f. Industry knowledge g. Knowledge of relevant it systems & processes involved h.
