Providing comprehensive technical services for the efficient and safe operation of electronic technology for health, safety and productivity in the mining sector. Leadership: 1. Responsible for overall technical employees work performance on relevant sites. 2. Evaluate the work of Supervisors to ensure they are working according to company standards. 3. Identifying training needs and ensure that training is completed. 4. Evaluate and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignment and work techniques. 5. Effective management of employees, including mentoring. Operations: 1. Responsible for the overall technical performance and organization of technical tasks as assigned by Area Manager 2. Implementation of strategies to avoid risks and uncertainties within the designated area. 3. Improve the operational and support systems (including HR, Finance and QC), processes and policies in support of the organization's mission specifically, management reporting, information flow, business process and organizational planning. 4. Adhere to annual budget in conjunction with sales Representatives and Sales Executives. 5. Control expenses to meet budget guidelines. 6 Maintain and develop existing and new customers by directly interacting with clients. Customer survey. 7 Attend and schedule regular customer meetings. Technical and Support: 1. Troubleshoot problems that the technicians are having on site and determine route cause of issue and recommend corrective action. 2. Managing of stock level at sites. 3. Notifying head of departments of technical problems. 4 Suggest new ways to deliver improved technical performance. Monthly meetings with technical coordinators. 5 Initial recruiting for the area. 6 Training of Technicians and customers Administration: Compiling and submitting of monthly reports of feedback of the area/region, products and efforts made. Helath & Safety: 1 Adhere to all customer safety regulations at all times. 2 Ensure compliance is maintained at all sites. Matric / N3 technical Diploma in electronics and/or trade test / N6 Management Training 10 years experience as a Technician 10 years experience in electronics (hardware and software) and IT (hardware, networks and software) 3 – 5 years experience in a leadership role Essential: Fluent in Afrikaans Supervisory skills Knowledge of company product Good computer skills (Microsoft package) Knowledge of the Labour Relations Act Knowledge of training and supervisory techniques Knowledge of company policy and procedures Valid driver's license Own Vehicle Apply Now
