The above Temp vacancy exists at our Finance – Accounts Payable department, Bryanston, reporting to the Creditors Supervisor. Suitably qualified candidates who meet the requirements of this role are invited to apply. The Creditors Clerk will be responsible for payment of accounts payable and reconciliation of creditors' statement to payables ledger. Key areas of responsibility for this role include but are not limited to: Ensuring all invoices are processed timeously for payment; Following up on GRN's and verifying invoices against GRN's and purchase orders, and clearing items on the GRN listing; Responsible for liaising with suppliers to ensure all required documentation for payments is accurately recorded; Reconciling accounts payable transactions, monitoring payments, and resolving invoice discrepancies and related issues; Ensure timeous processing of BEE invoices for payment. Assisting Auditors with documentation. Minimum of a Matric with Accounting Qualification (preferable); Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience; Knowledge and experience with JD Edwards; Strong administrative, verbal and written communication are essential; Must be proficient in the MS Office suite; Must have knowledge and experience with financial reports; Must pay strong attention to detail and have good time management skills.
