The responsibilities of such position are inter alia: • Drive a truck and trailer combination as instructed by the cartage controller and in accordance with the existing road regulations and company procedure; • Collecting and delivering of full and empty containers to and from the Ports and clients; • Complete a daily check list for the allocated truck/trailer and report any problems to management; • Delivering and collecting of containers as per instruction; • Daily check, maintenance and cleanliness of the truck; • Assist other staff members as and when required. • Heavy duty truck driver's license code EC (and a valid PDP) with minimum of 3 years' experience; • Must have previous experience in the transporting of containerized cargo; • Able to work shifts and including weekends and public holidays; • Meet occupational health and safety and medical requirements and is required to work under all weather conditions.
