Job Description
Our client based in Johannesburg has an opportunity for a skilled individual to join their team in the capacity of the Engineering Planner/Buyer. The successful Incumbent will be responsible for the following:
- Maintenance Scheduling
- System update and schedule maintenance
- Monitor and control the system
- Purchasing all spares with in line with specified cost, quality and delivery time
- Maintaining constant communication with suppliers regarding requirements
- Reviewing materials of daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Keep accuracy of internal engineering stores
- Ensure good housekeeping practices in the Engineering store
- Audits and feedback on job cards
- Undertake other relevant administrative duties as and when required
Qualifications
- Matriculation
- Tertiary Qualification in Supply Chain Management or Equivalent
Skills
- 2-3 years experience within a similar role
- Any technical experience/ background would be advantageous
- Previous procurement experience required in a technical field
