Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience (Plus Pension, Medical and 13 th Cheque) Desired experience and qualifications: Registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse Compulsory BLS Certification Minimum 2-3 years working experience as a Trauma Nurse Advanced Computer Literacy Capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation Flexible in working shifts (as and when required) Duties & Responsibilities will include: required health legislation Practice patient care according to the Scope of Practice and assume total responsibility for these activities In conjunction with the Unit manager be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of theatre teams, effectively motivating, and directing staff to ensure that time and resources are managed through effective teamwork To deputize for the Unit manager when necessary To assist the Unit Manager in the management of staff within their Unit including specific induction, recruitment and selection, training, performance management, sickness/ absence and appraisals.
