We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Treasury Analyst to join our client's finance team. As a Treasury Analyst, you will play a key role in managing our company's liquidity, cash flow, and financial risk. You will work closely with the Treasury Manager to ensure efficient cash management, optimize funding strategies, and support financial decision-making processes. Monitor daily cash balances and cash flow forecasting to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs. Execute daily cash management activities, including funding transfers, investments, and debt payments. Assist in managing relationships with banks and financial institutions, including account administration and banking services. Support in analyzing financial data to identify trends and recommend strategies for optimizing cash positions and minimizing financial risk. Prepare and present reports on treasury activities, including variance analysis and forecasting. Assist in evaluating and executing hedging strategies to manage foreign exchange and interest rate risks. Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements related to treasury operations. Collaborate with other departments such as Accounting, Finance, and Legal on various projects and initiatives. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Proven experience (5 years) in treasury operations or a related financial role. Solid understanding of financial instruments, cash management techniques, and risk management strategies. Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, as well as experience with treasury management systems (TMS) and ERP systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound recommendations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. R400 000 CTC to R550 000 CTC per annum based on experience and qualifications
