Unit Manager - Richards Bay

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Oversee the Occupational Health Clinic, ensuring the delivery of exceptional health services.
  • Health Program Maintenance: Establish and sustain programs promoting the physical, psychological, and social well-being of workers.
  • Employee Health Monitoring: Conduct ongoing health surveillance in line with SOPs.
  • Risk Management: Provide critical information to help clients eliminate, control, and minimize health risks and hazards.
  • Emergency Coordination: Effectively manage emergency procedures.
  • Financial Management: Operate within budget constraints and manage client billing.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards through internal and external audits.
  • Team Management: Supervise EMS staff in collaboration with the EMS Coordinator.
  • Client Reporting: Analyze and discuss monthly reports with clients, implementing approved changes.
Qualifications:
  • General Nursing and Occupational Health Nursing qualifications (SANC registered).
  • Clinical Nursing Science qualification (advantageous).
  • Current SANC registration.
  • Dispensing license.
  • Competency certificates in Spirometry, Vision Screening, and Audiometry (SASOHN registration required).
  • BLS for HCP.
  • HIV/AIDS Management.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Experience in treating Injuries on Duty.
  • Administrative and employee relations experience, along with strong communication skills.
