Good day All. We are looking for a Wages/Payroll Admin Clerk to join our dynamic team in the Glenwood, Durban Office. We are seeking applicants who are flexible, ( work time wise, as there is Overtime and sometimes Weekend work involved) and available to commence work as soon as needed. If you are interested in the position, kindly apply with your detailed/comprehensive CV with relevant documentation e.g. Matric certificate, clear copy of ID, highest Tertiary qualification certificate or equivalent etc. JOB DESCRIPTION / ADMIN CLERK JOB TITLE : Admin Clerk DEPARTMENT : Administration / Payroll RESPONSIBLE TO : Admin Manager CRITICAL RELATIONSHIPS : All Operations Staff : All Head Office Staff KEY RESULT AREAS. Prepare the audit file for each pay period. Communicate via SMS with employees regarding the status of their wage queries. Receive and file the manifest from operations. Acknowledge the timesheets received from operations by signing the manifest. Ensure that the timesheet manifest is signed between the handover from Admin Clerk to the Costing Clerk. Ensure that timesheets are received timeously and handled correctly. Ensure that timesheets are legible and complete. Compare timesheets against the head count report. Follow up on problem timesheets and missing timesheets from head count report and notify relevant Admin manager, Operations Manager and Managing Director. Ensure that wage queries are dealt with correctly and timeously. File wage queries correctly. Ensure that the wage folders are handled correctly. Ensure that all filing is done correctly by the receptionist and that the files are stored correctly. Cost all timesheets and biometrics print outs with the costing clerk Partake in the departmental skills development program on a rotational basis. Carry out any other reasonable instruction given by management. Minimum requirements are : Matric certificate Highest tertiary qualification certificate Ability to use Pastel or Sage 300 is an advantage Applicant must have worked with Timesheets/Payroll previously Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Resilient and embraces challenges Ability to ask for help when stuck on a task, or understanding something Does not buckle under pressure Able to work overtime (sometimes overtime ending at (20h00 – 21h00 pm). We do provide a company Staff Bus available and ready to take you home Able to work weekends or public holidays if need be - this & Overtime worked would be at renumerated month end, if worked. This may happen if there was a huge delay in the Timesheets as per the Manifest from across the multiple Regions : Nationally Ability to work cohesively in a team environment Must have keen attention to details skills Good computer skills (ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook) The successful applicant will be receive a salary of R 6 000,00 per month as per his/her 3 Month Fixed Term Contract.
